Agrotica 2024: Participation of the Stafylos project 

he Helexpo International Exhibition Centre in Thessaloniki, which hosted the 30th Agrotica International Fair for Agricultural Machinery, Equipment & Supplies, was once again packed with visitors during the four-day weekend of 1-4 February. Specifically, 53,623 visitors crossed the exhibition’s gates, confirming its dynamism and the reason it is and why it is the largest sectoral event in Greece and the Balkans. 

Of the thousands of people in attendance, a large number of vine growers were at the exhibition and the kiosk of NEUROPUBLIC, the coordinator of the Stafylos project, to learn about the cutting-edge technologies and smart farming solutions that can be applied to vineyards. 

In fact, visitors to the stand had the opportunity to learn about smart farming models that pertain to the areas of nutrition, timely handling of downy mildew on vines, and optimum vineyard management, as well as about improving the economic efficiency of table and wine grape cultivation. 

At the same time, NEUROPUBLIC executives informed the public about how the Stafylos project will help reduce production costs, improve the quality of the product produced, minimise inputs, and, consequently, pesticide residues in the product, and reduce the environmental footprint of the crop. In short, how it will help with the harmonisation of the applied cultivation technique with the increased requirements of the international markets and the EU.
