Pilot Applications

Agricultural cooperatives will assist in creating and supporting the necessary pilot plots that will lead to the development and implementation of innovative services.

The installation of the equipment in selected pilot plots will be necessary to collect and analyze heterogeneous data. In addition, it will contribute decisively to the adaptation of models for predicting nutritional, crop protection and irrigation needs as well as to the development of the smart farming advisory system.

Using meteorological stations of increased accuracy, adaptation of forecasting models to extreme weather phenomena will also be achieved.

It is worth mentioning that the pilot phase concerns at least 2 experimental plots – at least one in each cooperative – as well as additional plots where the field agronomist will record the corresponding operations.
