The Stafilos project at AgroThessaly 2025

The 14th Pan-Hellenic Fair for Agriculture and Livestock, AgroThessaly concluded with great success. This year’s event, held in Larissa at the Neapolis Covered Market from March 6th to 9th, recorded an impressive increase in visitor numbers, with trade visitors rising by 36% and group delegations by 43%. This is the largest AgroThessaly exhibition to date, with over 800 exhibitors from 34 countries and 48.560 visitors.

Among the thousands of visitors, a significant number of viticulturists visited the booth of NEUROPUBLIC, the coordinator of the Stafilos project, to learn about cutting-edge technologies and smart farming solutions applicable to viticulture. The booth featured communication and outreach materials to raise awareness about the project, such as the roll-up banner and the brochure, which attracted the attention of a large number of visitors.

Attendees had the opportunity to be informed about innovative smart farming models related to nutrition, irrigation, and the early detection of downy mildew in vineyards, as well as tools for optimal vineyard management.

These solutions aim to improve the economic efficiency of the crop, both for table grapes and wine grapes.

Additionally, NEUROPUBLIC representatives showcased to interested parties the ways in which the Stafilos project contributes to reducing production costs and improving product quality. Special emphasis was placed on minimizing inputs, as well as reducing pesticide residues and the environmental footprint of the cultivation. These practices align with the increasing demands of international markets and the EU, offering producers sustainable and competitive solutions for the future of viticulture.
